About - The 455-477 comms converter connects the PC comport (RS232) to the Net2 dataline (RS485). The converter is supplied in a black plastic enclosure complete with a 1A 12V dc power supply. 

The 455-482 USB comms converter is supplied in a black plastic enclosure. It does not require a power supply.

Installation - The plastic enclosure is suitable for wall mounting. 455-477 The unit must be located within 10m of the PC. A lead is supplied for connection to a mains spur. The serial lead is supplied, plug into the server PC and power up. The control units will automatcially be detected.

455-482 A lead is provided. Plug into the server PC and the control units will automatically be detected. Please check with Paxton Access support for compatible versions of Net2 software.
